A new favourite - went for the happy hour and we had the Margherita & Divola pizza, which were both fantastic, especially with the added chilli oil! Something which I haven't seen in many Vancouver restaurants, was the pizza scissors, so you can choose your pizza slice sizes!
As for the cocktails, I tried a negroni sbagliato, which was with prosecco instead of gin, and would highly suggest giving it a try, as a normal negroni drinker, it was great little twist!
Will see myself returning soon! -

Came here ordered a couple pizzas both were great if I had to say something negative the red sauce is not as acidic as I would have liked however over all great pizza when paired with their chili oil and a great environment I would definitely return
Would have given it four stars however I was not satisfied with the service -

I can't count the number of times I've come here, but am just getting around to writing a review now for some reason.
Great pizza! There are a few other shops around town that possibly have better pie, but NA is great for a number of reasons, particularly their happy hour. Half off negronis? Yes please! I LOVE their negroni spagliato, which replaces the usual gin with prosecco, so it's a bit more dry and sparkling and delicious. For $6 this is a steal. There are also a few pizzas that are almost half off, for instance the diavola is $12 but $20 on their regular menu.
The salads and other dishes are all great too. Unfortunately they stopped serving their pasta e fagioli, but they replaced it with a ribollita which is quite similar and also quite tasty.
The interior is clean and modern with a cool bar and the pizza chefs and oven are in plain view. It's usually fairly slow from 5-6, but fills up quickly after that, so come early or make a reservation. -

Normally, I love red sauce pizzas most of all. When I went to Nicli I accidentally ordered a pizza that had no red sauce, no white sauce, just... a chili honey drizzle, with some olive oil? And just that drizzle - just bits of dough with no toppings, only that sweet and slightly smokey honey - that alone was mind-blowingly delicious. And that was before I got to the bacon jam, fresh cheese and basil, and soppressata. All fantastic.
That was the Il Bastardo. I cannot recommend it enough.
The rest of it is good! Cutting your pizza with scissors is fun, the service was nice and pretty quick, there are some good happy meal dishes. Prices are, admittedly, pretty steep. The crust was a little softer than I'd like, I'll admit.
But damned if the mouth-watering flavour on that thing doesn't immediately earn this place 5 stars from me. Maybe the whole "international association of Neapolitan pizza" idea Nicli is a part of isn't quite as quaint and quirky as it sounds! -

Good, not great. The toppings were fresh and delicious, comparable to other Neapolitan style pizzerias around town, though far more interesting. It's just that I had better crust elsewhere very recently so I was disappointed at the sogginess of the middle of the pizza. I really like bread so a good crust stands out to me.
Diavola: only $12 during happy hour! A yummy spicy soppressata (salami) pizza.
Il Bastardo: one of the pizzas with more unique toppings like bacon jam and chili honey. It was quite delicious though a tad on the sweet side for me, but my friend loved it.
Both pizzas were topped with fresh sweet basil which I think more pizza places should do. They complement the richness of the pizza well.
Pizzas also come unsliced and with scissors to cut them.
